Richard Marshall Coaching Profile

Richard Marshall – Executive Coach – CPsychol, APECS;  tel:  +44 7733010556

helping leaders to be more effective, feel more fulfilled and achieve more balance, by working on their leadership – style, awareness, influence, impact.

Richard has 25 years’ experience of coaching people in Commercial, Public sector and Charity sector organisations, along with a background in Human Resources and Organisation Development. He has worked as a leader and director at national, international and global levels and is qualified as a Business Psychologist (occupational). Richard is passionate about people and performance, releasing and multiplying the potential of leaders and their teams.

For Richard, Executive Coaching is about creating a safe space for leaders/professionals to explore the challenges they face – by providing support and challenge where appropriate, he can help them understand more about what is working for them, what needs to change, and how to change it.

Richard has been coaching for most of his working life and has lived and worked in the UK and Asia. After an early HR career during which he introduced performance coaching at (Astra) Zeneca Pharmaceuticals, he worked in a series of increasingly senior roles, culminating in his most recent global role as Senior Director for People and Culture at global charity World Vision International.

In 2015 he completed a 2 week Research Fellowship with the Transnational NGO initiative at Syracuse University, New York: subject focus = “Why CEOs Fail - and what you can do about it”.

Since founding his own company in 2016, he has been coaching CEOs, senior managers in transition and talented emerging leaders, both face to face, and increasingly over Skype.  Richard trained at the Academy of Executive Coaching and is qualified to use a range of psychometric tools and assessments (eg Hogan). He is accredited with APECS (the leading association of Professional Executive Coaches)
